Ken Henry, Ph.D., CCC-A
Dr. Henry is the director of Professional Hearing Services and the Dizziness and Balance Center. He earned his Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. He has 27 years experience the evaluation and diagnosis of hearing and balance disorders. He has published articles on vestibular system assessment, infant hearing assessment and intraoperative monitoring. He is an active faculty member at Gallaudet University and The George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University. In addition to serving as director of Professional Hearing Services he is also supervising audiologist for the Newborn Hearing-Screening program at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. Dr. Henry is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. He has over 25 years of experience with hearing aid dispensing with all levels of hearing aid technology.
Cheryl Boston, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Boston earned her Doctorate of Audiology from The George S. Osborne School of Audiology in Elkins Park, PA and her Master's Degree from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. She has been an Audiologist with Professional Hearing Services for more than 20 years and has extensive experience in the evaluation of hearing loss for all age populations (pediatric through geriatric). She is highly trained and has experience working with all levels of hearing aid technology. She also has experience in the evaluation of dizziness and balance disorders. Dr. Boston is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with which she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid specialist in State of Virginia. She sees patients in the Manassas location.
Kathryn Keier Rios, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Rios earned her Doctorate of Audiology from The George S. Osborne School of Audiology in Elkins Park, PA. and her Master's Degree from The University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. Her role at Professional Hearing Services includes supervising the dizziness and balance center. Dr. Rios is also involved in the INOVA Fair Oakes Newborn Hearing-Screening programs. She is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University. Dr. Rios is highly trained in the evaluation of the individuals with dizziness and balance disorders and works with all levels of digital hearing aid technology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and sits on the Early Childhood Hearing Outreach (ECHO) Team that provides training and technical assistance to Head Start programs. Her primary locations are the Springfield and Falls Church offices.
Jennifer K. Miller, Au.D., CCC/A
Dr. Miller earned her doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. An Ohio native, she completed her graduate work at the University of Akron, where she later served as a clinical instructor. She has many years of experience in hospital and medical settings, performing hearing evaluations for all age groups, and conducting assessments for dizziness and balance disorders. She has expertise in all levels of hearing aid technology and wireless accessories. She is certified through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/A). Dr. Miller practices in the Herndon office.
Jian Yu, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Yu earned her doctoral degree in audiology from University of Maryland in College Park, MD. She is trained in the evaluation of hearing disorders in all populations and dizziness and balance disorders in adult population. She also works with all levels of hearing aid technology. Dr. Yu will become a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association in summer 2009, with which she will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Yu sees patients in the Falls Church and Springfield offices.
Donnia Zack-Williams Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Zack-Williams earned her doctoral degree in audiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She attained her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. She specializes in hearing evaluations for all populations and works with the latest digital hearing aid technology. Dr. Zack-Williams is trained in electrophysiological measures and in evaluating patients with dizziness and balance disorders. She is particularly interested in Cochlear Hydrops Analysis Masking Procedure (CHAMP) and Electrocochleography (ECoG). She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology (PAA). Dr. Zack-Williams currently sees patients at the Falls Church and Herndon offices.
Lauren Paroly, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Paroly earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at Towson University in Towson, Maryland and her Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. Dr. Paroly specializes in hearing evaluations and hearing aid evaluations for the geriatric, adult and pediatric populations, working with the latest digital hearing aid technology. She is also highly trained in electrophysiologic measures as well as the evaluation of patients with dizziness and balance disorders. Dr. Paroly is also involved with the INOVA Fair Oaks Newborn Hearing-Screening program. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, with which she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), and a member of the Maryland Academy of Audiology (MAA). Dr. Paroly currently sees patients in the Falls Church and Springfield offices and at Fair Oaks Hospital.
Paloma Robinson, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Robinson earned her Doctor of Audiology degree at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Robinson specializes in hearing evaluations for all populations and works with the latest digital hearing aid technology. She is also trained in electrophysiological measures and in evaluating patients with dizziness and balance disorders. Additionally, Dr. Robinson is an active member of audiological humanitarian efforts in Mexico through Gallaudet University. She is fluent in English, Spanish and American Sign Language with some additional knowledge in French. She currently sees patients in the Springfield and Manassas offices.
Emily B. Graham, Au.D.
Dr. Graham earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from East Tennessee State University and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Graham specializes in hearing evaluations and the selection and fitting of hearing aids using the latest digital technology for the adult and pediatric populations. She is well trained in the evaluation of patients with dizziness and balance disorders, as well as electrophysiological testing. Dr. Graham is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with which she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). She currently sees patients at the Falls Church and Herndon offices.
Chizuko Tamaki, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A
Dr. Tamaki earned her Doctorate degrees from Gallaudet University. She has an extensive background in dizziness and balance evaluations, and has presented at several local and national conferences. She also works with all levels of hearing aid technologies. Dr. Tamaki is also a part-time faculty member at Gallaudet University, teaching diagnostic and hearing aid courses. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and Certified Member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She sees patients at the Falls Church office.
Andrea Cossettini, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Cossettini earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She also earned a Master's degree from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, both in anthropology, before turning to audiology. Dr. Cossettini specializes in hearing evaluations and the selection and fitting of hearing aids using the latest digital technology for the adult and pediatric populations. She is well trained in the evaluation of patients with dizziness and balance disorders, as well as electrophysiological testing. Dr. Cossettini is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), maintains the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a professional member of the Hearing Loss Association of America in the Washington DC area. She currently sees patients in the Falls Church and Herndon offices.
Hallie Plevinsky, B.S., CF/A
Ms. Plevinsky is currently in her fourth year of the Clinical Doctoral Program in Audiology at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. She has completed clinical rotations at the University of Maryland clinic, as well as at various facilities around Maryland and the DC area. She is highly trained in the assessment of auditory disorders in all age groups, as well as in selection, fitting, and verification of digital hearing aids. She is also trained in electrophysiological measures and evaluating patients with dizziness and balance disorders. She is currently a student member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and is the former president of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) at the University of Maryland.
Kollene Sistek, B.A., CF/A
Ms. Sistek is currently in her fourth year of the Clinical Doctoral Program in Audiology at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She has completed clinical rotations at the Bloomsburg University clinic, a number of hospitals in the North Central PA region, as well as at various private practice facilities in PA. She is highly trained in neonatal assessment and plays an active role in the newborn hearing screening program at Fair Oaks Hospital. She is currently a student member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology (PAA) and is the former president of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) at Bloomsburg University.
